12.8V 20Ah High Power LiFePO4 Battery Pack Shipped to the USA

Recently, our American customer ordered one unit of a 12.8V 20Ah high-power LiFePO4 battery pack from us for his client.

The battery pack is a version of our standard 12.8V LiFePO4 module with a built-in BMS, temperature and cell voltage discharge/charge cut-off protection, and cell balancing. This module is available in the 10–20Ah size range and can discharge continuously at up to 20A until the low-voltage protection shuts the module off.

The module will spend most of its time sitting at 90% SOC and 1–2 hours a day with 13.7V applied to its terminals.

The maximum discharge current will be 20A and the maximum charge current 22A; both can be continuous. Therefore, the 20Ah module needs to be 1C rated.

So we used 21700 4000mAh high-power cells in a 4S5P configuration for this module.

The customer wanted a lighter weight for the 20Ah module. The weight of this battery is 2.6 kg.

We shipped the battery using the most cost-effective shipping method because the customer was not in a rush. But as you can see from the picture below, it only took 8 days to be delivered.
