Recently, we shipped 3 units of 51.2V 100Ah 4U server rack LiFePO4 batteries to Estonia. This customer of ours is from a university in Estonia and has purchased batteries from us several times.
For this battery model, we can provide 3U, 4U, and 5U sizes. This time, our customer preferred the 4U size.
Regarding the rack for the batteries, the customer has decided to place the batteries on a mobile platform trailer, which means they will build a very specific rack to accommodate the batteries. Because the trailer will move at up to 90 km/h on the road, they will use a custom rack.
For the batteries, we usually provide mounting accessories to secure them, as shown in the picture below. However, our customer felt that the mounting accessories were not enough. So we provided the 3D STEP files, and based on these, the customer will manufacture a special rack for the application.
Because the load current for the customer's application is more than 100A, the busbar on top, as shown in the picture below, is needed.
The batteries were packed in cartons with a total gross weight of 157 kg. We shipped them by sea with door-to-door service, and the tracking information will be updated soon.
