Shenzhen, China | May 15 – At the 17th China International Battery Fair (CIBF), CORNEX unveiled its comprehensive energy solutions portfolio, spanning energy storage systems (ESS), electric vehicle (EV) batteries, and cutting-edge technologies. The showcase included breakthroughs such as the 472Ah ultra-high-capacity energy storage cell, the upgraded “Submerge” Battery Safety System 2.0, and the CTP 3.0 large-surface liquid cooling platform, underscoring the company’s commitment to "technology leadership, full-scenario empowerment, and global collaboration."
The star of the exhibition, CORNEX’s 472Ah energy storage cell—slated for mass production—sets new benchmarks with a single-cell capacity of 1,510.4Wh (50% higher than mainstream alternatives) and a cycle life surpassing 12,000 cycles. Integrated into a 20-foot battery energy storage system (BESS), it achieves a system capacity of 6.9MWh (6.28MWh standard overseas, expandable to 6.9MWh), reducing levelized energy costs (LCOE) by 20% for utility-scale and commercial/industrial applications.
For EV markets, CORNEX introduced its 120Ah fast-charging cell, boasting a gravimetric energy density over 191Wh/kg and compatibility with 800V high-voltage BEV/XEV platforms. This solution enables driving ranges of 350–750km and supports 4C ultra-fast charging, addressing critical consumer demands for efficiency and convenience.
Safety innovations took center stage with the “Submerge” Battery Safety System 2.0, which reduces fire suppression response time to 6 seconds through a novel coolant circulation design, while improving cooling efficiency by 27% and slashing coolant storage volume/weight by 98%. Complementing this, the CTP 3.0 platform integrates liquid-cooled BDU, direct CCS/BMS connectivity, and intelligent thermal management, achieving over 80% volumetric efficiency and 20% higher heat exchange performance in extreme environments.
CORNEX’s "ESS + EV" dual-strategy addresses global decarbonization demands across power generation, transportation, and industrial sectors. Highlights included:
-ESS Innovations: The “π-Series” ultra-long-life, high-temperature-resistant solutions alongside next-gen 472Ah cells, tailored for utility and C&I applications.
-EV & Specialty Markets: Over a dozen EV battery variants for Mini EVs to premium segments (BEV/PHEV), plus 21Ah–324Ah commercial cells for low-speed vehicles, construction machinery, and marine systems.
With 5,000+ global patents, 60+ ESS/EV products, and R&D advancements in solid-state, sodium-ion, LMFP, and cylindrical cell technologies, CORNEX holds 200+ international certifications, including UL and IEC standards.
Global Footprint: Strategic Partnerships Drive Localized Impact
CORNEX’s worldwide technical network across 15 countries enables 24/7 support, fueling its expansion into key markets:
