A client from the Bahamas ordered 64 pieces of CALB L173F230 3.2V 230Ah Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) prismatic battery cells for his solar system. He has used CALB CA180 LiFePO4 prismatic battery cells for many years, and it was time to replace them with new battery cells. He is a loyal customer of CALB batteries, so we recommended the new CALB L173F230 230Ah LiFePO4 battery cell, which has an aluminum case and a larger capacity, since the production of the CA180 model had been discontinued. We provided him with the studded version, together with free busbars and bolts for easy connection. He will build four 16S 48V LiFePO4 battery banks for his solar systems using these 64 230Ah LiFePO4 battery cells.

Before the shipment, we tested every single 230Ah LiFePO4 battery cell on items including appearance, open circuit voltage, internal resistance, capacity, packaging, and marking, and issued a test report. It showed that the voltage was around 3.245–3.285V, the internal resistance around 0.1–0.5mΩ, and the capacity around 242.5–250.5Ah, which is about 8% higher than the nominal capacity. The battery cells we provided were all brand-new Grade A LiFePO4 cells.
