On July 7, CORNEX and TECO Electric & Machinery formalized a strategic cooperation agreement at CORNEX’s global headquarters. The signing ceremony was attended by CORNEX Chairman Dai Deming, President Huang Feng, Vice President Zheng Peng, and Head of Overseas Business Ryan Liu, together with TECO Chairman Morris Li, President of the Power & Energy Business Group David Kuo, Head of Green Energy Business Wen-Chieh Peng, and Operations Technology Manager Shaun Xu.
Under the agreement, the two companies will build a long-term global partnership that encompasses joint project development, product supply, project execution synergy, technical support, and resource sharing. Over the next two years, CORNEX will deliver 2GWh of DC-side energy storage products to TECO. These high-reliability, high-efficiency solutions will be directed at AI Data Centers (AIDC) and other cutting-edge sectors, helping to tackle the challenges of the global energy transition. In addition, both parties will give priority to the Southeast Asian market, with a particular focus on Malaysia and Thailand, to speed up the rollout of premium energy storage infrastructure and contribute to the creation of resilient and flexible power systems.
The partnership leverages the convergence of the digital economy and the new energy industry, propelled by surging demand for AIDCs and large-scale utility storage plants. CORNEX brings deep R&D and manufacturing expertise in battery cells and containerized systems, underpinned by a robust supply chain and proven large-volume delivery capability. TECO contributes extensive experience in power equipment, system integration, and localized overseas engineering. Together, the two firms will establish a complete industrial closed loop—spanning products, electrical components, project development, and O&M—cultivating a new ecosystem of technological synergy and resource sharing.
