12.8V 1680Ah Customized Battery Pack Shipped to Malaysia

A customer in Malaysia is currently using a 12.8V 700Ah battery pack composed of Winston 700Ah battery cells. The customer wants a battery pack with a larger capacity to replace the one currently in use.

The customer uses the battery pack on board a ship, and the space available for the battery pack is limited. Therefore, based on the information provided by the customer regarding battery size, charge and discharge current, etc., we customized a 12.8V 1680Ah battery pack solution for the customer and designed it with waterproof material. This is the largest-capacity battery pack available in its size range.

The 12.8V 1680Ah battery pack consists of two 12.8V 840Ah battery packs connected in parallel. The weight of one battery pack is approximately 80 kg. The space for transporting the battery packs on the ship is very narrow. Taking into account the actual transportation conditions, a parallel solution with two battery packs was designed for the customer so that the battery packs can be transported and installed through narrow passages.

We provided instructions for the battery pack and adjusted the parallel parameters before arranging delivery. This ensured that the customer could better install and use the battery pack upon receipt.

This is a picture of the battery pack when it was shipped. Since the battery pack is heavy, we used wooden boxes to pack the battery packs so that the customer can be sure that they will not be damaged during transportation.

The battery pack was shipped door-to-door by sea. It is now on the way and is expected to arrive at the customer's address in two weeks.
