Recently, our customer from the UAE placed a repeat order for 10 pcs of 12.8 V 8 Ah LiFePO4 battery packs, 5 pcs of 12.8 V 12 Ah LiFePO4 battery packs, and 5 pcs of 14.6 V 2 A chargers.
The batteries are used in an IoT automation system deployed in solar farms. The system is active for 15 minutes each day and then operates in power-saving mode for the remainder of the day. It operates on a 12 V power supply, drawing a consistent 5.5 A at 12 V for 40 seconds during operation, and then draws 0.1 A at 12 V for the remaining 14 minutes 20 seconds (assuming the total active period is 15 minutes). An MPPT and a 20 W solar panel are also provided to keep the battery charged at all times. The battery will be housed in an enclosure kept in a shaded area. The ambient temperature will range from 35°C to 55°C daily.
Based on estimates, our customer requires a minimum battery capacity of 6 Ah, considering sufficient power for self-sustaining operation during weeks without sunshine, as well as the environmental conditions, charge/discharge rates, and cycle requirements. We recommended our 12.8 V 8 Ah lithium battery pack.
After testing by our customer at the work site, our products performed very well, so our client purchased them in bulk again.
We produced the lithium battery packs with screw terminals as required. To ensure safety during transportation, we sealed the positive and negative terminals with tape for insulation. We tested every battery to confirm that it works normally.
The 14.6 V 2 A chargers have molded cords, jack connectors, and UAE plugs. All are unbranded. We followed our customer's request, so we applied temporary labels and shipped the formal labels to the client.
The batteries and chargers are packed in cartons and protected with sponge. We shipped the products to the UAE by air via a special line with no customs duties required, and it only took 7 days to arrive.
