We received an inquiry email earlier today from an established wind turbine company that is a leading green energy producer in Denmark. They would like to add a battery storage system to one of their wind farms.

He said, “We are considering installing batteries in one of our wind farms in Denmark. If we use one of your 2 MW/4 MWh BESS containers, what would the price be for such a BESS? Will we need an external inverter, or is the inverter included in your BESS?”

After reading his email and discussing it with our engineer, we provided a solution to them. Our solution is a 4 MWh CATL LiFePO4 battery storage system and a separate PCS that can charge and discharge the battery storage system at 2 MW.

Here is the topology of the solution:

2MW/4MWH BESS + PCS/Inverter + Transformer for Wind Turbines

The battery storage system will feed into the 33 kV public grid through a 2 MW PCS/inverter and a 690 V AC/33 kV AC transformer.

We are still discussing the solution with our client, and we will serve wind turbine farms in Northern Europe by providing high-quality LiFePO4 4 MWh BESS + PCS + transformer.
