Recently, we sent 50 Sunwoda 3.7 V 173 Ah NMC lithium battery cells to a regular customer in the United States.
This 173 Ah NMC cell has a high energy density of around 250 Wh/kg and is widely used in high-speed electric vehicles, such as the Volvo EX30.
The customer did not have laser welding equipment. As before, we helped the customer weld M6 bolts onto the battery terminals and provided matching connectors so that the customer could connect the cells directly after receiving the goods.
Regarding shipment, the 50 cells were packed in 7 cartons with a total gross weight of 143 kg.
The customer chose sea shipment under DDP terms. The goods first arrived at a U.S. port by sea and were then delivered to the customer's address by UPS. The total delivery time was 35 days.
