Shanghai, June 11, 2025 – At the SNEC International Photovoltaic Power Generation and Smart Energy Conference & Exhibition, SVolt Energy unveiled its groundbreaking FlexPod Building Block Energy Storage System to the global market under the theme "Stacking Innovation, Storing the Future." This innovative product signifies a new stage in SVolt's energy storage technology development.

As the latest member of SVolt's Short Blade system family, the FlexPod system achieves a major breakthrough in energy storage design by integrating three core technologies: Short Blade stacked cells, Cell-To-Rack (CTR) design, and a vertically stacked, compartmentalized system architecture. Within the footprint of a standard 20-foot container, the system delivers an impressive 9MWh of storage capacity. It also features limitless scalability, allowing capacity expansion to segments like 12MWh, 15MWh, and 18MWh based on customer needs. The system boasts a 30% increase in structural strength and a 36% reduction in component count, showcasing SVolt's excellence in product innovation.

The FlexPod's modular design effectively solves the overweight challenge hindering the overseas transport of 6+MWh storage systems, potentially saving 13% in transportation costs. Its footprint is 20% smaller than traditional solutions, significantly improving space utilization. Utilizing a decoupled concept, the system separates the DC and AC compartments. Combined with an innovative upper battery compartment layout requiring zero maintenance, this design not only resolves operational challenges associated with double-stacked containers but also optimizes costs substantially. Its plug-and-play nature enables rapid deployment across diverse applications, including commercial & industrial (C&I) energy storage, grid peak shaving & frequency regulation, and renewable energy integration.

Performance-wise, leveraging 370/770Ah thermally compounded short blade cells, the FlexPod employs advanced dual-sided liquid cooling technology for superior temperature control precision. This extends system lifespan by over 15% compared to conventional products. Integrated with SVolt's self-developed "BeeCloud" big data platform, the system enables full-process digital management from real-time monitoring to intelligent operation and maintenance, creating greater value for customers.

SVolt's energy storage products have already secured multiple international authoritative certifications and successfully entered markets across Europe, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and dozens of other countries and regions.

The launch of the FlexPod system not only demonstrates SVolt Energy's end-to-end innovation capabilities – from cell development to system integration – but also underscores the leading position of Chinese enterprises in the global energy storage technology sector. Moving forward, SVolt Energy will continue to deepen technological innovation, driving the global energy storage industry towards greater efficiency, economy, and sustainability.
