SNEC 2026 took place with great fanfare from June 3rd to 5th. In the utility-scale and grid-side storage segment, the flagship BYD Haohan delivers a massive 14.5 MWh capacity, powered by the world’s largest 2710 Ah dedicated blade battery—boasting over 300% more capacity than conventional industry cells. Its volume utilization rate (Vcts) reaches 52.1%, enabling an equivalent 10 MWh of capacity in a standard 20-foot container. This means that power stations of the same scale require fewer containers, occupy less land, and are simpler to manage. The entire unit is rated IP66 for ultimate protection, easily withstanding extreme desert conditions such as severe drought, violent sandstorms, high heat, high humidity and heavy salt spray, setting a new technological benchmark for the global energy storage industry.

Unveiled alongside it, the all-new GC Flux PCS and GC Master EMS form the “power heart and intelligent brain” of the energy storage system. The GC Flux PCS spans a power range of 2.5–10 MW, with a maximum area power density 38% higher than the industry average, and delivers an exceptional three-times overload capability for 10 seconds. It supports both grid-following and grid-forming modes and leads across all core indicators. The GC Master EMS can connect to tens of millions of data points—25% more than the previous industry best—and its system computing power is a staggering 400% greater than the industry peak. When paired with the ultra-large-capacity BYD Haohan, a single site can be managed at a scale exceeding 15 GWh.

The BYD Haohan underwent rigorous evaluation by CSA Group and was awarded three vital certifications—UL 1973, UL 9540 and UL 9540A—fully meeting the technical specifications and safety access requirements of the North American energy storage market. The MC Cube-T Pro BESS officially obtained GB/T 44026 certification from Jianheng Certification. The GC Flux PCS energy storage inverter successively achieved Jianheng’s national standard certifications GB/T 34120 and GB/T 34133, as well as international certifications from TÜV Rheinland across multiple countries. These milestones confirm that BYD’s energy storage products fully comply with the highest international technical standards, laying a solid quality foundation for its global strategic deployment.
