On January 10, 2026, CATL inaugurated the NING SERVICE Experience Center in Riyadh—the first and largest new energy aftermarket facility established by the company outside China. The center reinforces CATL’s after‑sales network and advances regional electrification and decarbonization efforts in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which targets 30% vehicle electrification in the capital and a 50% reduction in emissions by 2030.
Covering over 7,000 square meters, the facility includes exhibition areas, diagnostic and maintenance zones, refurbishment workshops, training rooms, and a customer lounge. It delivers full‑lifecycle support for battery systems used in passenger and commercial vehicles, energy storage applications, and electric equipment like forklifts. Services range from battery diagnostics, repair, and maintenance to rework, recycling, aftermarket logistics, and warehousing—helping customers minimize downtime, cut costs, and prolong asset life.
The center was designed to tackle local challenges such as high power demand, extreme climate conditions, and limited charging infrastructure. It also acts as a talent‑development platform, offering training programs that promote knowledge transfer and create skilled local jobs. Globally, NING SERVICE operates ten training centers spanning 2,300 square meters and has certified more than 9,700 new energy after‑sales professionals through collaborations with vocational institutions.
Through partnerships with local industry players, the Experience Center supports CATL’s localization strategy. The company is in discussions with fuel station operators to supply green power at service points, with infrastructure firms to electrify truck fleets, and with energy companies to deploy integrated solar‑plus‑storage systems. These partnerships aim to enhance service capabilities, build market confidence, and accelerate the rollout of comprehensive new energy solutions across the Middle East.
The Riyadh hub joins CATL’s worldwide network of over 1,200 service stations and 73 spare parts warehouses, with a total inventory area exceeding 370,000 square meters. Having maintained more than six million electric vehicles globally, NING SERVICE reflects CATL’s long‑term commitment to the region’s energy transition and its contribution to broader sustainability objectives.
