Samsung SDI 3.7V 94Ah NCM Lithium Ternary Battery Cells Shipped to Estonia

Our customer from Estonia ordered 44 pcs of Samsung SDI 94Ah lithium ternary batteries from us again, as they are very satisfied with the first batch. The batteries are used for university research, and many experiments have been carried out with them.

We packed these batteries in the original cartons and shipped them by train with a door-to-door service. The total gross weight is 102 kg, and transit takes about 40 days to the destination.

The Samsung SDI 94Ah NCM battery is a kind of ternary lithium battery used in the BMW i3 EV. Currently, the BMW i3 uses NCM 111 battery cells rated at 94Ah and made by Samsung SDI. NCM 111 means that the cathode, besides lithium, contains nickel, cobalt and manganese in a composition ratio of 1:1:1. Sometimes, these cells are also referred to as NCM 333. The volumetric energy density is 352 Wh/L, and the gravimetric energy density is 174 Wh/kg. The battery has a cycle life of more than 3,200 times at 80% DOD.
