Xiaomi Auto Unveils Longjia (Dragon Armor) Battery, Names CALB as Power Battery Strategic Partner

On September 4 in Beijing, Xiaomi officially introduced its Longjia (Dragon Armor) Battery at a strategic cooperation launch event. The company confirmed that the entire upcoming Xiaomi SkyNomad series will be equipped with this new battery platform.

At the same event, Xiaomi Auto named CALB as a strategic partner. The two sides agreed to collaborate across the full industrial value chain and to jointly develop high-standard power batteries. CALB Chairwoman Liu Jingyu and Xiaomi Auto Vice President Huang Zhenyu were both present for the announcement.

According to Xiaomi, the Longjia Battery represents more than a set of safety standards and a system-level battery solution. It is also a platform-based outcome of the deep collaboration between CALB and Xiaomi Auto.
