EVE Energy Shines with Marine Battery Safety Solutions at Marintec China 2025

From December 2nd to 5th in Shanghai, Marintec China 2025 stood as a world-class stage for the maritime industry. Seizing this prominent platform, EVE Energy—a trailblazer in China’s marine lithium battery sector—took center stage to launch its CCS-certified Full-time Active Balancing BMS and Independent Thermal Runaway Gas Venting System. The company also unveiled strategic collaborations with Royal Van der Leun Groep B.V., Green Whale Technology B.V., and Nantong Chengrui Battery Technology Co., Ltd., spotlighting its end-to-end capabilities in marine battery safety, system integration, and global ecosystem development.

Technology Leadership: Raising the Bar with Certified Safety

As the global shipping industry accelerates its green transition, electrification faces a crucial challenge: ensuring battery systems are durable, reliable, and fundamentally safe under demanding marine conditions.

EVE Energy’s newly introduced Full-time Active Balancing BMS addresses loss of system capacity due to cell inconsistency. Utilizing high-precision monitoring and proactive energy transfer between cells, it enhances overall usable capacity and extends cycle life—delivering greater operational economy and reliability.

To tackle the critical risk of thermal runaway, the Independent Thermal Runaway Gas Venting System combines sensitive hazard detection with a rapid-response mechanism. Capable of identifying threats and activating powerful ventilation (up to 400 m³/h) within 30 seconds, it effectively disperses hazardous gases to prevent secondary incidents and strengthen onboard safety.

Both systems have been formally recognized by the China Classification Society (CCS), affirming their readiness for marine applications. During the event, CCS representatives presented the certification to EVE Energy’s leadership team.

Forging Ecosystem Synergy for a Sustainable Future

The true value of advanced technology is unlocked through deep industry partnership. The alliances announced at the event mark a strategic move in EVE Energy’s global expansion and supply chain integration, reflecting its dedication to open collaboration and mutual growth.

By teaming up with European partners Royal Van der Leun Groep B.V. and Green Whale Technology B.V., alongside domestic specialist Nantong Chengrui, EVE Energy brings together complementary resources and expertise to drive sustainable shipping solutions worldwide.

These partnerships underscore EVE Energy’s evolution from a top-tier battery supplier to an “industrial ecosystem builder” and a “global partner for zero-carbon shipping.” The company believes that uniting with outstanding partners across the value chain is essential to scaling innovative technologies and unlocking the industry’s full potential.

Moving forward, EVE Energy will continue to build on eight years of real-world marine application experience. Rooted in innovation and open cooperation, the company remains committed to delivering safer, longer-lasting, and more reliable clean energy solutions—working hand-in-hand with partners across the globe to navigate the shipping industry toward a greener, smarter, and sustainable tomorrow.
