Our client from Canada recently purchased 12 pcs of SQT-32145H 2.4 V 10 Ah LTO batteries from our company. These cylindrical LTO battery cells were specifically chosen for use as a starting battery in their car, especially designed to perform well in cold weather conditions, such as temperatures as low as -20 °C (-4 °F).
By choosing LTO (Lithium Titanate) batteries, our client has opted for a technology known for its excellent performance in cold temperatures. LTO batteries offer superior low-temperature performance compared to other types of batteries, such as lithium-ion or lead-acid batteries. This makes them a reliable choice for automotive applications in regions with harsh winter climates like Canada.
The SQT-32145H batteries are specifically designed for cold weather environments and are equipped with features that enable reliable performance even in extremely low temperatures. Their 2.4 V voltage and 10 Ah capacity make them suitable for car starting applications, providing the necessary power to start the engine in adverse weather conditions. They also offer a super long cycle life of more than 20,000 cycles at 80% DOD, as well as high continuous charge/discharge rates of 4C and 6C.
To ensure the batteries remained secure and protected throughout their journey, we utilized cartons with partitions. These partitions created independent compartments for each battery cell, preventing any potential damage or short-circuiting that could occur from them coming into contact with each other during transit. This packaging approach enhances safety and minimizes the risk of accidents or issues that may arise during transportation. To expedite the delivery process and ensure the batteries reached our client in Canada in a timely manner, we opted to ship the batteries by air.
